The former church of St Michael-on-the-Mount Lincoln has opened its doors to a new future. After twelve months of restoration and conversion works, the 158 year old building has successfully opened as boutique hotel accommodation linked to the successful Old Palace Hotel. Turentek liaised closely with Franklin Ellis Architects, presenting a period reeded knob design, combining mixed polished chrome and brass. To give concealment where possible door controls from the Geze Boxer series were mounted in the door head, whilst electro-magentic concealed guide rails combined aesthetics and functionality.
